Who knows what pain and terrible fear Nike would have felt as she wandered the streets unable to use one of her front legs? Struggling to put weight on it, she limped along, her suffering growing by the day. A kind person passing by noticed her struggle and contacted us.

When Nike arrived at our shelter, an x-ray revealed that she had an old fracture that had never been treated and therefore hadn�t healed properly. She was also weak and refusing to eat. Thanks to people like you, she has now been started on pain relief and will receive further treatment for her foot once she is stronger.
