Hi! My name is Harumi! I�d love to be your friend! I like to use exclamation marks so you can tell how keen I am!

I was brought to the Soi Dog shelter here in Phuket, Thailand after I was hit by a car. Thanks to supporters like YOU, I was nursed back to health.

I am just over 2 years old and I simply LOVE life. I love people. I love dogs. I love food. I love walks. I love sniffing things. I love cuddles. Phew! That�s a long list!

Let�s talk about my walk. I have a condition called ataxia, which means I�m a little bit wobbly on my feet. But that doesn�t hold me back. No way! It actually makes me stand out from the crowd. I�m great on a lead and I�m pretty smart. I know exactly where to find the doggy treats and I make the volunteers laugh by pretending I�m tired. Ha ha! Some people fall for my trick and give me a treat to get me moving again! Ssshhh…don�t tell them I told you�..

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
