SSPCA – Donation Baskets

On 6th October 2016, we kick-off our community project: SSPCA’s Donation Baskets.

These baskets, placed at retail outlets, are for kindhearted people like you to put your donations of rice, kibbles, detergent, shampoo, clorox, towel. You don’t have to travel far to our Shelter anymore.

We will be collecting your donated items from these drop off centres once a week, or earlier, if the basket is full.

As a registered non-profit organisation, the SSPCA depends entirely on donations from kindhearted people like you. Your support is vital if we are to make lasting difference to animals’ lives.

Your gift today, whatever the items you choose to give, will help us to save animals from sufferings, and the care they need.

We are looking for more retail outlets to participate in this baby project of ours. If YOU can, and have extra money in your pocket, please donate a pack or two. Bring it over to our SHELTER or you can place it at our ‘SSPCA – Donation Baskets’ at our drop-off centres.

The Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals believes that animals, as living creatures, have value beyond economic measurement, and are entitled to legal, moral and ethical consideration and protection. The Sarawak SPCA's mission is to act as an advocate on behalf of animals and as an enforcer of their rights; to provide for the well-being of the animals of the State of Sarawak who are abandoned, injured, subjected to unfair or cruel treatment, or otherwise in need; to cultivate in the people of our community an awareness of the animals whose world we share; to promote a bond of mutual assistance between people and animals; and to instill respect for and appreciation of all living things.
