BROTHER & SISTER CAT NEED A SAFE BACKYARD ABROAD
Seeking International Help Finding Them a New Home
The “Beggars” are a semi-feral brother and sister, born two summers ago on the grounds of a school in Turkey. This pair were very bonded from the beginning, and somehow found their way to the window of rescuer Manuela Wroblewski who feeds hundreds of street animals in the seaside community of Avsallar each day. The other kittens from that litter were hit by cars and their mother passed away from a tumor a few months later. But this brother and sister found relative safety on the grounds of Manuela’s apartment building.
“In 2015, both were spayed/neutered and ended up getting the name the ‘Beggars’,” Manuela explained from her apartment in Turkey. “They faithfully wait and stay outside my window pretty much 24 hours a day and beg for their meals which I, of course, automatically provide to them. But the apartment complex here is small and the care taker often throws stones at them.”
“I sadly have to return to my country of origin soon but already have 9 adopted cats from here who will return to Germany with me. I have reached my most upper limit,” Manuela continued. “It would be my biggest wish that the two Beggars could find a happy home where they can live in peace for the rest of their lives. Both are easy to please and such grateful creatures.”
If anyone can offer the Beggars a suitable home abroad, they will need a tranquil environment and perhaps a safely fenced yard with their own cozy cat house. We do have a protocol that is very successful in relocating semi-feral cats like these, and would be happy to help with advice and supplies to aid in their transition.
The cats travel with health certificates documenting their vaccinations.
If you may be able to offer the Beggars a home, please email Manuela at manuwroblewski@googlemail.com
