THIS DOG WAS ATTACKED WITH A MACHETE

Narutoe has never known the love of a human or a home of his own. His life has been spent living on the streets, trying to find enough food to eat and staying out of danger. Across Thailand, millions of street dogs live like this every day. Sadly, one day danger found Narutoe.

Narutoe was found one day by a kind woman who feeds the street dogs in her community. She had been searching everywhere for him after he went missing for two days. When he turned up again, a deep cut ran the length of his side and he was losing a shocking amount of blood. Machete attacks are sadly commonplace in Thailand and Narutoe was the latest victim in what was a horrific act of cruelty.

This poor boy was raced to the nearest vet clinic for emergency treatment, after which he was transferred to our shelter for ongoing medical care.
