YOU HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE

Who knows who wrapped the elastic band tightly around my nose and mouth and how long it had been there when I was found? The band cut deeply into my lip, causing it to split in two. The resulting wound became severely infected and my life was in serious danger when found by the kind person who alerted Soi Dog. At the shelter, they have named me New Star.

I was so terrified that the doctors had to sedate me in order to remove the elastic band which had embedded itself deeply in my gums. With the infection that had taken hold, a lot of the surrounding tissue was rotten and I was in serious agony. But thanks to people like you, I was started on antibiotics and pain relief and given a comfortable place to sleep where I felt safe.

I have recovered well now and I am slowly learning to trust people again, starting with Dr Su, who took such good care of me. But as you read my story, another animal is suffering and in desperate need of your help.
