OUTREACH POWER IN THE FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER

In just one week, we participated in two major school events – Open Little Eyes Conference at Singapore Chinese Girls’ School and Horizon Primary School’s Family Day, allowing us to reach out to over 400 people in just two days!

SCGS Open Little Eyes Conference got us and students talking about the various aspects of wildlife trade that are compromising on the welfare of animals. Our presentation that touches on issues such as wild animals used in tourism/entertainment, wildlife parts used in traditional medicine and the illegal pet trade, has definitely ‘opened the eyes’ of our audience that afternoon. Thank you to SCGS for creating this platform to widen the children’s exposure to animal protection.

Horizon Primary Family Day gave us the precious opportunity to spread awareness of human-animal co-existence to families. Our native wildlife is calling out for our tolerance and compassion towards them, and we have to start acting quickly before we lose them forever. Thank you Horizon Primary for inviting us to add humane education to this important day!
