This is an important message to members of the public who have been kind and generous in supporting the work of SPCA Seberang Perai Pulau Pinang.

Please be informed that SPCA Seberang Perai has only one bank account with Public Bank Bhd and our Account Number is 3137021629.

Therefore, all donors and well-wishes who wish to donate to SPCA Seberang Perai whether via online transfers or direct bank-ins, can do so into the above account and no other.

To make personal donations to SPCA Seberang Perai please contact either Mdm Tan Kah Chuah, Chairman of SPCA Seberang Perai at 0125523447 or Mr Ong Chin Wooi (Richard), Treasurer of SPCA Seberang Perai at 0174703383. Please tag us the bank in slip and all the donation will issue tax exemption receipt according to donor name provided.

Please beware of people who are directly or indirectly misrepresenting to the public that they are collecting donations on behalf of SPCA Seberang Perai and even asking people to transfer money or bank in money into their own personal accounts to buy food for and treat sick animals belonging to SPCA Seberang Perai. The society has not authorised anyone to solicit funds from the public in such a manner.

The Society is also aware of inaccurate information being disseminated on social media and by word of mouth to discredit it. Appropriate action is being taken including police reports have been made to deal with the situation.

SPCA Seberang Perai

The SPCA Seberang Perai is a society registered in September 2005. Our primary aim is to reduce the population of stray animals or possibly a zero stray population in a humane manner. With lesser strays or no strays at all, the loving value of animals will be greatly increased and you can be sure that humans will shower more love for their pets and be responsible pet owners. The problem should not only be shouldered by our Society as the public must also understand the urgent need to control the pet population and give their whole-hearted support to all our projects for the undertaking to be successful. Then we will achieve a clean and hygienic environment for the community. As a no killing organization, we are embarking on a two-prong approach towards the problem i.e public education and sterilization of the stray animals.
