My name is Ahilya and my beautiful big brown eyes and fluffy, wire haired cream coat attract cuddles and pats which always makes my heart sing! I peer at volunteers through my fringe and, when they don�t notice me, I attract their attention by nibbling them playfully. I love people and am a cute one year old girl who would do well in a home with other dogs or on my own.

I was living on the streets of Phuket, Thailand, when a car hit me! I could no longer fend for myself as my hip was injured and I was limping. Thanks to people like you the nice local person who was feeding me could call the Soi Dog Foundation for help. I was so relieved when the rescue team picked me up and brought me to the shelter.

After months of recovery and treatment I am ready to find a home of my own. My paw is healing and, although it is slightly crooked at the moment, I still love walking and getting out of the enclosure.

I don�t mind the company of other dogs but am quite a solitary girl who enjoys spending time on my own. This is a little difficult as the enclosure here is quite full. Please will you give me a chance to find a safe place where I can doze in peace and share quality time with a family who love me as much as I love them.

I have heard great things about the USA, Canada, the UK and the EU. Please adopt me!
