IVE BEEN IN A SHELTER FOR ALMOST MY ENTIRE LIFE WILL YOU GIVE ME THE HOME I DESERVE?

Please EMAIL all questions to lou@soidog.org.

I was just 2 months old when I was abandoned on the streets of Phuket, Thailand. I was too young to survive on my own and too young to find food, water and shelter from the rain. I dont know what I did to deserve this, but I know that without the kind donation from people like you, I would never have survived. Who knows what would have happened to me back then?!

When I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter, they called me Puck. By the time I got here, everything frightened me. I had a scary start in life but I am now safe and every day I am growing in confidence. This is why I am here today, to ask you to do something special for me. Will you please adopt me and give me the life that all dogs deserve?

I am 3 years and 4 months old and I am sad to say that life in a shelter is all I know. Here, I have food, water and a dry place to sleep but I have heard that nothing compares to having a home of my own. I have never had my own bed to sleep on, toys to play with or a human I can love. I am longing to fulfill my dreams of finding my forever home could that be with you?

New sounds and smells can scare me and it takes time for me to trust people. I will often let the volunteers here take me out, and once I get to know them, I wait patiently for them to arrive and get excited for my walk. I will need time to settle into a new home and a nice quiet location would be ideal for me.

Learning to love again will take time, which is why I am looking for a calm, caring and patient owner, who will give me the time and space I need to settle. I am told lots of things about living in a home with a loving family but it is an unknown world to me. What are TVs, washing machines, dog parks and cars? Will you show me the way and give me the time I need to build my confidence?

Life hasnt been easy for me, but with your help and a gentle hand to guide me, I could have the life I have been dreaming of. Are you the patient owner I have been looking for?

A kind supporter has donated towards my flight costs, which means it is even easier for me to get to you. Please dont leave at the shelter any longer, please adopt me.
