I AM A 4 YEAR OLD BOY LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME OF MY OWN!

My name is Valter and I was living on the streets of the island of Phuket, Thailand, when the lady who usually fed me brought me to Soi Dog after I stopped eating. The vets said that the diet I had followed on the streets did not suit me and decided to keep me at the shelter.

Although I am grateful to be here, the shelter is not a place that I thrive. I long for a forever home with an owner who will have the time and patience to build my confidence. I would prefer to be in a home on my own where I don�t have to compete for attention and affection. I have so much love to give!

I am a good listener and promise to always be available for a gentle stroll. I would suit a home with older owners who want to take things slow – just like me. I doze in the sun for most of the day and my favourite thing is to have my chest and head scratched – it reduces me to a puppylike state as I lap up the attention.

Please don�t leave me in the shelter! Please give me a chance! Please adopt me!
