My name is Dakoda and I am a dog you just can�t help but fall in love with! In addition to my gorgeous looks and silky coat, I have a bright, energetic personality and always carry a big smile on my face despite, my gloomy past.

I am looking for a forever home with someone who will love me � could that be with you?

I am 3 and a half years old and have always lived on the streets of Phuket, Thailand. One day I was hit by a car, leaving me in a life threatening condition and a world of pain. I had no owner and no one to love me. I was scared and thought help would never come. But thankfully a kind lady found me and brought me to the Soi Dog shelter for emergency treatment.

After lots of care and intensive physiotherapy, my muscles have strengthened and my funny walk now goes unnoticed. The vets tell me that my hind legs cross over slightly when I walk, but this doesn�t stop me playing with the other dogs I meet and going out with the volunteers on my daily walk.

My favourite part of the day is when volunteers come and spend time with me. I bounce around and get excited, but I am learning to calm down and love attention and a fuss. I behave well on the lead and enjoy sniffing out all the best smells, which is why I am looking for an active home where we can go for long walks together.

I am told that I am a smart boy and I would do well at doggy training classes. I have never lived in a home before nor had a human to love. I am looking for someone to show me the way and to teach me about all the new, exciting things the world has to offer. TVs, washing machines and living indoors is a mystery to me but it sounds like fun and I would love to come and live with you.

I have heard great things about the USA, UK, Canada and Europe. The adoption team here can arrange everything for me to travel, so all you need to do now is adopt me! Please give me a loving home, we would be the very best of friends.
