Meet Norus, just 5 years of age but looking years older when he was rescued from the streets where he had nobody to care for him. Norus was being ravaged by chronic skin problems when he was picked up by one of our Animal Rescue Officers. An open wound on the side of his face was severely infected and full of maggots. Another wound on his back left leg was similarly infected. His skin problems had left him nearly bald, and he itched constantly. Animals like him simply have nobody if they don�t have you on their side.

Thanks to compassionate animal lovers donating for his care, we were able to start him on the treatment he needed and he is slowly turning a corner. The wounds have almost completely healed and gradually, his fur is growing back. Sadly, as you read his story, other animals continue to suffer.
