Non-Compliant Applications
Tweet |
Lately, there have been many, many non-compliant applications. Applicants would write the wrong bank account number, or there is no name of bank. The receipt would be issued to their nicknames (not their real names) or the receipt is not signed and stamped by the vet.
It’s been quite frustrating processing such applications because phonecalls or text messages have to be made to contact these applicants so that they can resubmit compliant applications. Then, there is also the 2-week deadline and Pos Malaysia has been very slow.
Some applicants are understanding and will quickly resubmit their applications, but some are not so. Here is an example: An applicant sends in a form without the name of his bank. When contacted and asked to resubmit, he asks why we cannot check his old application (months ago) to find out the name of his bank.
Last month, we processed 220 applications. It’s far too much work to dig up old applications to check the name of someone’s bank. Also, it is the onus of the applicant to provide all the required data.
We know times are bad and we are trying our level best to help applicants who need the financial aid.
We hope applicants would also please do their part to ensure that they comply with our requirements so that their applications can be processed swiftly and they will receive the financial aid as soon as possible.
Please check all details on your form before posting it. This will certainly help.
Thank you.
