CUTE BROWN AND WHITE GIRL LIVING IN THE UK LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME! PLEASE ADOPT ME!

EMAIL dana@soidog-foundation.org for more information.

My name is Rosa. I am a medium sized brown and white 4 year old girl and have been living in the UK since April 2015.

When I was still living in Thailand Khun Jaroon hes one of the Soi Dog Foundation dog catchers – found me badly injured. I had been stabbed in the chest. I cannot describe how much pain I was in. I was so happy when he scooped me up in his arms and brought me to Soi Dog. The wound was deep but the vets told me that my heart and lungs were undamaged and that I would live.

The vets were amazing: every day they cleaned my wound and I slowly started to heal. I was so happy when someone chose to adopt me and I flew to the UK to start my new life.

My adopter helped me adjust to my new home and pack and everything settled down. She says that I am affectionate and sweet. I have participated in obedience classes and Im told Im very smart. I was taken to fun dog shows where I won obedience classes and have my Good Citizens bronze certificate. At dog shows my adopter asks people to give us some space and, as long as other dogs are not ‘in my face’, Im okay.

I am wonderful with people – gentle as well as loving and I have been clean in the house from the day I arrived. I havent had much experience with very small children but my adopter thinks that I will be fine with older children.

I love my little canine brother who is a rescue terrier from Spain. I must admit I didnt like him for the first two months after he arrived but then I suddenly decided to play with him and we have been best friends ever since. We play together like two puppies and he chews my tail and legs but I dont mind at all. We even share bones and I will give mine to him.

Im not so keen on my little canine sister who is a Daschund. My adopter thinks it might be because she is a small, female dog. I can be reactive with other dogs when out walking, so you would need to keep me on a lead and perhaps distract me with treats to help me change my behaviour.

My adopter is very sad at the thought of me leaving as we love each other very much but she feels that she has to consider my little sister, the Daschund, who doesnt feel safe with me around.

I am looking for a warm and secure home where my new family can give me the love I deserve and who will have the time, dedication and patience so I can continue to learn and develop. Please adopt me!
