CHIPPY AND YOKO – JOURNEY BACK TO THE WILD

Meet Chippy and Yoko, both wild long-tailed macaques recently rescued. Both had to be unfortunately removed from the wild due to public feeding which has altered their wild behaviours and resulted in complaints from the public.

ACRES has been working hard over the past month to rehabilitate them and they have both been responding well :-) No more human food for them and they are loving and eating lots of food they can find in the wild. They have become good friends grooming each other, eating and sleeping together.

Things are looking good and they will be released back into the wild together soon! Check out the video.
