Old and sick strays usually become an easy prey for the dog catchers. Dobby was one of them. Fortunately, he was sent to our shelter where our volunteers notice his abnormalities. By then he has already refused food intake and was pooping blood. Dobby was weak and could hardly managed to lift his head up.

With the help of our volunteers, he was sent to Pet Wellness for treatments. The vet had done a blood test on him and put him on drips. Dobby’s blood report is definitely not optimistic. His kidney and liver reading is not good. He has hyperglycemia (high blood sugar), may be diabetes or just temporary due to his current condition and most importantly for now…

HE NEEDS IMMEDIATE BLOOD TRANSFUSION in order to stand a chance to survive!

The donor will need to be a strong healthy dog, weighing approximately 25kgs. If your pet falls under these criteria, and you are willing to help us save Dobby, please bring your pet to Pet Wellness now or latest by tomorrow morning.

We are counting on you all to share this out and help us find the right donor to save Dobby. He is fighting hard now…So don’t look away, the least you can do is click share.

For those who would like to contribute to his medical bill, you may donate to the below account:

SPCA Seberang Perai

The SPCA Seberang Perai is a society registered in September 2005. Our primary aim is to reduce the population of stray animals or possibly a zero stray population in a humane manner. With lesser strays or no strays at all, the loving value of animals will be greatly increased and you can be sure that humans will shower more love for their pets and be responsible pet owners. The problem should not only be shouldered by our Society as the public must also understand the urgent need to control the pet population and give their whole-hearted support to all our projects for the undertaking to be successful. Then we will achieve a clean and hygienic environment for the community. As a no killing organization, we are embarking on a two-prong approach towards the problem i.e public education and sterilization of the stray animals.
