ICONIC ACRES RESCUES: PYTHON STUCK IN A DRAIN
Check out this intense footage of our wildlife rescue team saving a reticulated python called Shrapnel – who got stuck in a pipe.
Reticulated pythons naturally live in drains so if you do see one in such a location, dont panic, it usually isnt a cause for concern. In this instance, Shrapnel did need some help so we stepped in (if you are concerned about a wild animal, for example if they seem stuck or injured, then please do call our 24-hour ACRES Wildlife Rescue Hotline at 97837782) . Though he had some cuts from the incident, Shrapnel was treated by our team and released safely.
Please support our #KeepTheDriveAlive campaign so we can replace our wildlife rescue van and more animals like Shrapnel can be saved.
