TAG ACRES TO YOUR SCHOOL EVENTS!
As Singapore schools were celebrating the proud occasion of SG51 on the 8th of August, Secondary 2ANT from Chung Cheng High School (Yishun) held a fundraising booth for us during their school’s National Day Parade Bazaar. As an action for their VIA ‘Booth & Fund’ project, they managed to raise $164.95 in just a few hours.
Besides the funds we need to continue our work for the animals, the time dedicated by the students is equally valuable to us. 2ANT delivered a total of 163 advocacy hours – awesome!
Because of the students’ efforts, the school community learned that we can celebrate proud moments of humane treatment towards animals. Everyone can play a part in ending animal cruelty by being mindful in our everyday lives, e.g. going meatless once a week, choosing cruelty-free products, being an animal-friendly tourist etc. Find out more about making cruelty-free choices at www.acres.org.sg
Email us at joee@acres.org.sg to start tagging ACRES to your school events. Make a difference for animals; make a difference for the youths of our nation!
