SOMEONE LIKE YOU CHANGED VERENA’S WORLD

Verena was dumped by her former owner, who moved house and left her behind. Running around in the streets, she was hit by a car and sustained very serious injuries to one of her legs.

Brought to our shelter by the kind local person who found her, it was sadly too late to save her leg, which had to be amputated to end the agony she was in.

Support from people like you meant we could keep Verena safe at our shelter until she was adopted by the wonderful Matt and Laura in the UK. She recently left us to make the long journey to her forever home and below are some of the photos of her settling in. Thank you Matt and Laura for giving her a forever home!
