MEET TITHONIA: YOU CHANGED HIS WORLD

When Tithonia arrived at our shelter, his condition was shocking. A cancerous mass had taken over his face and was causing him untold agony. Tithonia needed urgent medical attention but he was a street dog � there was no owner to care for him. So people like you stepped in instead.

The compassionate animal lovers who funded all the vital treatment Tithonia needed are known as the Emergency Response Team. Will you please go to https://ert.soidog.org/ to join them?

Thanks to them, Tithonia made a wonderful recovery and has just been adopted to Ilana in Ontario, Canada, where he is now known as Gimli! The following is a brief excerpt from an update we received from Ilana:

“He’s been happy, approachable, attentive, and loving all day (he loves nothing more than being petted and will stand there, probably forever if you didn’t stop giving him attention), he looks up at me with big brown eyes for validation, follows me everywhere, and gives big showers of kisses! He’s already strongly bonded to me and I can see the appreciation in his eyes and his body language – he KNOWS he’s in a good place now.”
