My name is Yusuf and I am a handsome 2 year old boy. I was living in a house with my dearly loved owner and thought life was going great. Until the day he packed all his things and went back to the country he came from. The only thing he left me with was a note, asking the neighbours to take care of me. I felt so alone. How could he leave and not take me?

The neighbours were unable to take care of me and so they called Soi Dog for help. The Rescue Officers came and picked me up and brought me to the shelter here in Phuket, Thailand.

I am safe in the shelter but I am really unhappy. The shelter environment is extremely harsh for a dog that was used to having an owner, having his own bed and sleeping in a house.

I am a bit reserved when I first meet people but I am warming up quickly. Once I know you I am very affectionate and sweet. I like to rub myself against the volunteer�s legs, what makes them laugh. The volunteers say that my fur feels very soft and that I am a pretty boy. I walk well on the lead and enjoy walks in general.
