Cheang brought Mickey for wound cleaning today.
Mickey wearing his little socks to protect a sore on his hind leg.
To be realistic, the worst is NOT over yet for Mickey as there is still urine leaking through the gaping hole. This means the rupture has not healed completely. Surgery is not possible to mend the rupture because of the position. We need to call upon a higher force in the universe to help Mickey heal.
However, Mickey is happy, eating well and pee-ing on his own. Being the happy little cat that he is, I think Mickey is grateful for his wellbeing now.
We count moments. We should, because moments are all that matters. Who'll know what happens next?
So, moments are all Mickey has, and all we have, too, for that matter.
While Mickey is enjoying his moments, we can all help by praying that the rupture will heal soon.
Get well soon, Mickey, and while you are getting there, stay happy.
Cheang has learnt how to do the wound-cleaning herself after observing the vet today and she has bought the bandages and pads for Mickey.
Today's wound cleaning was only RM10 and is sponsored from our funds.
