Cleo�s Spy Mission That�slipped

Indy, Cleo and Pole are the only ones who can (and who WANT to) jump onto the spying-ledge at the pantry where it’s just a very, very narrow ledge. From there, they can look out to see what is happening at the neighbours’.

Even though the ledge is very narrow, the three of them somehow can make a 180 degree turn with no problems at all. So, they can go back and forth while on their spying missions. I really don’t know how they do it.

Cats will be cats, and humans cannot stop them from doing what they want.

Yesterday, I witnessed something quite heart-stopping.

Cleo was on the ledge and I think she must have slipped because I heard a thud and in that split second, I saw her fall onto the shelf and thereafter onto the floor. But thank goodness she landed on all fours.

She got up immediately and ran away.

No apparent injury or any kind. A cat’s reflexes put us to utter shame. And thank goodness for that too!

Later on, she was up on the ledge again…on another spying mission.

No biggie, folks. I’m fine.
