HELP US BUILD HANAKO'S HOSPITAL... It has been a very sad time for us all, with the recent loss of little Hanako. Although Dr Su & her team did their absolute best to make Hanako's stay at the Soi Dog Clinic as comfortable as possible, Soi Dog's current hospital area is very small and not suited to long term patients like Hanako. Hanako's passing has prompted us to push ahead with raising funds fo...r a badly needed new hospital, to replace the small clinic where Hanako spent so much of her short life.

Many people have asked how they can donate in Hanako's memory, so please visit this new page on our website where you'll find more information about Hanako's Hospital & also a link to the full story of Hanako (from her arrival at Soi Dog, until her sad departure). You'll also be able to watch all 10 Hanako videos.

The dogs which Soi Dog treats have needed this new hospital for some time now, but we have been reluctant to upgrade our current facility, as the building stood on the portion of land that Soi Dog did not own. The recent Land Appeal raised the funds to buy this land & we can now confidently improve/build new facilities, without the threat of losing the land on which it stands.

The new Hanako Hospital will have separate wards, so dogs can be segregated according to condition. New dogs will be quarantined and puppies will be kept separate from larger dogs. The additional space will allow for much needed x-ray facilities which is not possible in the current hospital.

If you would like to help make "Hanako's Hospital" a reality and make life a little better for those dogs that need extra special care, your donation will go straight towards the construction of our new hospital & the ongoing treatment/running costs. The amount needed to build Hanako's Hospital (construction only) will be approximately US$120,000.
