SPEAK UP FOR ANIMALS! IT ONLY TAKES 20 SECONDS
Every year, millions of animals are cruelly transported over long distances from where they were raised to where they will be slaughtered, suffering immensely. The greater the distance, the greater the suffering.
During long distance transport animals can be exposed to:
- Overcrowding. Animals are crammed tightly into vehicles. Many are injured or trampled to death
- Exhaustion and dehydration. They can be in transit for days, suffering extremes of temperature and often without sufficient food, water or rest. Many die as a result.
- Pain and stress. Animals are sentient beings and feel pain and stress just like we do.
