My name is Duschan and I am a lovely 6 year old girl who was brought to the Soi Dog foundation here in Phuket, Thailand, by a kind hearted lady. When I arrived at the shelter I was starving and skinny as life on the street was tough for me. Nobody fed me. I am so happy that people like you have made it possible for me to live a healthy life as I now have food to eat and a place to sleep. But life in a shelter is no substitute for a proper family. I dream of a loving forever home where I will be safe and warm at last.

I have always been a reserved character and nervous around people. It will take time, dedication and patience to gain my trust and help me overcome my fears and securities, but it will be worth it!

I find the world outside the enclosure a little frightening so I stop and stand still when I hear strange noises or encounter new people and dogs. I do well in the enclosure with the other dogs because I know them and I feel safe in my familiar space and surroundings.

I would love to be part of your world. Can you give me a calm environment and a warm bed of my own? Please give me a chance. So many dogs have found their forever homes in places like Canada, Europe and the USA, could I be next?
