MY LIFE WAS SAVED BY SOMEONE LIKE YOU

Like so many others, my life has been lived on the streets. If I was lucky, I would find somewhere safe to sleep and a kind person to feed me. My name is Maokai and I am a boy of about 4 years of age now.

The kind person who found me and alerted Soi Dog was shocked by how emaciated I was. I was so weak I could barely stand up and I was battling diarrhoea and refusing to eat. At the Soi Dog shelter, I was diagnosed with blood parasites.

Without people like you funding our treatment, street animals like me have no hope. The compassionate animal lovers who make up the Emergency Response Team are all we have. As Soi Dog is now being asked to help so many more of us, will you please go to https://ert.soidog.org/ to join the Emergency Response Team?

Thanks to the compassionate animal lovers who did just that, I was started on the medical treatment that ultimately saved my life and I am now slowly recovering. My appetite has returned and I am gradually gaining weight but I have a long road ahead of me. Despite this, I am still one of the lucky ones.

Please don’t forget the other animals whose pictures you haven’t seen or whose stories you haven’t read. They are here with me and they need you too. Will you please go to https://ert.soidog.org/ to join the Emergency Response Team for us?

By joining this special team, you will become part of a small group of dedicated animal lovers who fund vital, life-saving medical treatment for suffering street animals. As a member of the Emergency Response Team, your small monthly gift will add up to countless lives saved each year.

Animals like me simply have nowhere else to go. Our future depends on you. Please don’t think you can’t make a difference. Because you are the only one who can.
