THANK YOU TO PARENTS WHO ENCOURAGE THEIR CHILDREN TO BE COMPASSIONATE TO ANIMALS!

ACRES is always wowed (and very happy!) when young children whom we talk to have natural compassion towards animals and awareness of animal cruelty issues.

And when children go the extra step to help ACRES � such as fundraising for ACRES instead of accepting birthday gifts for their own birthday parties � we are simply in awe!

It�s thanks to supportive, compassionate parents that these children are growing up with great morals and a desire to help animals.

The early years of your child�s life are important in shaping the person they will grow up to be. Encouraging your child to respect and be compassionate towards animals from a young age means they will carry this lesson throughout their life.

According to the National Parent Teacher Association, �Children trained to extend justice, kindness, and mercy to animals become more just, kind, and considerate in their relations to each other.�

So, it isn�t just the animals that benefit from your child being compassionate!

Thank you to the parents, who, as well as already working tirelessly to raise children, are raising them to be compassionate for animals too.
