HOW DO YOU SUPPORT A CHILD WHO SHOWS LOVE FOR ANIMALS?

1. Say �YES� when your child asks to throw a fundraising birthday party to help animals!

Maia, who has just turned 6, hosted an “animal rescue” party for her birthday. Instead of wanting gifts for herself, she asked her guests to donate money to support ACRES and SPCA (Singapore) in animal rescue work.

2. Guide him/her in the fundraising process.

A total of $928 was raised from the fundraising birthday party. Claire and Bronte Forbes helped to arrange for half of that amount ($464) to be donated to ACRES. This amount will go a long way in supporting our efforts towards ending animal cruelty, such as our 24-hour Wildlife Rescue Hotline, rehabilitation of victims of the illegal wildlife trade, humane education programmes, animal crime investigation, and so on!

3. Be proud of your child who has a heart as big as the universe!

We are sure that Claire and Bronte are two very proud parents to have raised such a compassionate and helpful child. The ACRES family shares the pride and joy with you, too. Fantastic job, Maia!
