She is just under a year old and has lived her life on the streets. It will not have been an easy life. Each day will have been a battle to survive but she is one of millions of dogs who live like this. Belladonna has never had the love of a human or a place to call home.

She was found battling severe skin conditions and anaemia. She had wounds all over her face and ears which were severely infected and infested with maggots. Without immediate medical treatment, Belladonna was at risk of blood poisoning and a slow and painful death. Thankfully, people like you saved her. These special people are the members of our Emergency Response Team.

Our Emergency Response Team is a group of compassionate animal lovers, all over the world, whose donations fund life-saving medical treatment for suffering street animals. Their support saves thousands each year and thanks to them, we were able to get Belladonna to our shelter where she has now been started on the treatment she desperately needed.
