I was struggling to survive when they found me. My name is Genius and I was found wandering the streets of Thailand with an injured back leg. The vets fought very hard to save the leg, but a life-threatening infection had set in and I had to have it removed.

I get around fine with my three legs, but sadly, the mental scars I bear mean I am not ready to be adopted. The horrors of my life on the street have made me very fearful of strangers and I run away from nearly everyone. This means it will be a while before I am ready for a home of my own.

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
