A hundred years ago, there were thought to be about 100,000 tigers roaming in the wild worldwide. By 2010 only about 3,200 tigers remained, equating to a shocking 97% decline. They only occupy around 7% of their historic range, and are currently only found in scattered parts of Asia and the Russian Far East.
In conjunction with Global Tiger Day, Maybank and WWF-Malaysia will be having an exhibition on tigers at the Terrace, Menara Maybank from 29 July 12 August. Drop by to learn more about tigers and how you can help conserve this magnificent species.
