MORE VET INTERNS TO GIVE A BIG CHEER TO THIS JULY!

We were blessed to have two wonderful interns – Alicia Wee and Lex Quah � working with us in July.

Alicia is a Year 2 veterinary student from the University of Edinburgh. She is also our Wildlife Guardian who used to volunteer with us before her further studies overseas. During her internship period with ACRES, Alicia was always full of energy and showed a lot of passion for the work. She always took the initiative to assist others after she had completed her own tasks.

Another of our interns, Lex, who is currently in his first year of studying Animal Science at Murdoch University, is an independent young man who is always able to complete all of his assigned tasks, leaving us very impressed! He was the main care-taker for the animals in the Treatment Room during our recent staff retreat period, which was a great help!

At the end of their internships, we wish our valued interns all the best in their studies, and we certainly look forward to their return to ACRES.
