THANKS TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU, I AM SAFE NOW

Like so many others, my life has been lived on the streets. If I was lucky, I would find somewhere safe to sleep and a kind person to feed me. My name is Martinez and I am about 3 years of age now.

I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter because one of the kind people who feeds the stray dogs in their community noticed one day that I was limping and couldn�t put any weight on one of my back legs. It was clear I was in a great deal of pain.

Without people like you funding our treatment, street animals like me have no hope. The compassionate animal lovers who make up the Emergency Response Team are all we have. I also have an old eye injury, meaning the eye has sunk into its socket. Life on the streets has not been easy but I am safe now. I had to have surgery for my leg and I am now doing something called physiotherapy to strengthen it and get me walking properly again. None of this would be possible without people like you.
