WHY THE EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM NEEDS YOU

This is Rodfai. She is a 6 year old street dog who was recently hit by a train, sustaining very serious injuries. This incident happened some 500 miles from our shelter on Phuket, and Rodfai was initially brought to a private vet clinic by local people, but when they couldn�t afford the costs of her treatment, she was transferred to our small clinic in Bangkok.

Rodfai was in agony and had extensive damage to both of her front legs, as well as her face. Her right front leg was injured beyond repair and had to be amputated to end the extreme pain she was in.

We hope that as she recovers in the coming weeks, she will learn to adjust to life with three legs. It is only thanks to people like you that she is now receiving the care she needs and that she is alive.
