My name is Valter and I was living on the streets of the island of Phuket, Thailand, when the lady who usually fed me brought me to Soi Dog after I stopped eating. The vets said that the diet I had followed on the streets did not suit me and decided to keep me at the shelter. I was glad to stay as I did not enjoy life on the streets.

Although I am grateful to be here, the shelter is not a place that I thrive. I long for a forever home with an owner who will have the time and patience to build my confidence. I would prefer to be in a home on my own where I don’t have to compete for attention and affection. I have so much love to give! I am a good listener and promise to always be available for a gentle stroll.

Soi Dog Foundation
