I was just weeks old when I was dumped at a rubber plantation. I was a pitiful sight, with nearly no fur and scabs and sores all over my tiny body. Was I abandoned because I wasn�t pretty?

Luckily for me a kind person who feeds other dogs in that area saw me. She picked me up and brought me to the Soi Dog shelter here in Phuket, Thailand.

My name is Romilda. I am a little girl of 8 months of age. Thanks to people like you, who funded my treatment I made a full recovery. My fur grew back and the volunteers say that I am now as beautiful outside as I have always been inside.

I am friendly and playful . I walk well on the lead and am good with the other dogs in my enclosure. The people here say I am very responsive to training (aka treats) and learned how to sit in no time. Perhaps we can enroll in a puppy class together? I think that would be great fun.

Please don�t let me grow old in the shelter. I have so much love to give. Please open your heart and home to a precious girl like me. I like other dogs and love to play with them, so if your home has pets already, I’ll fit right in.

I have heard great things about Europe, the US and Canada and hope that there is a nice family out there waiting to adopt me. Will you change the world for a girl who has had such a terrible start in life? Please ADOPT me!
