EVER WONDERED ABOUT OUR DIFFERENT FOCUS AREAS? WONDER NO MORE!

At ACRES, we frequently get asked about the work we do. We are often thought of as solely a wildlife rescue organisation, but we do much more than that! We believe that education and raising awareness are key to addressing animal protection issues and ending animal cruelty. That said, humane education is just one of our six Focus Areas.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
