My name is Ma Luang. I am a friendly boy of nearly 4 1/2 years and I have been housed at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Thailand since I was just 9 months old.

When I was a small puppy I had an owner. But when I became older he didn’t want me anymore and said that he was going to poison me. A kind hearted person heard what was about to happen and brought me to safety.

I am a healthy dog and I arrived here at the shelter with no medical issues. I was simply unwanted and unloved. I love people and there is nothing better than a good belly rub if you ask me. Although walkies are also pretty high on my list of favorite things to do. I would love to be part of an active family. Perhaps we can go for long walks or hikes together?

I do get along with the other dogs in my enclosure. But I love people so much that I don’t want to share their attention. So therefore I would be happiest in a home without other dogs.

I have so much love to give. Please give me the second chance in life that I so deserve.

I have heard great things about Europe, Canada and the U.S. Please adopt me!
