Vincent Eats�by Himself!!!

As I came downstairs this morning, Vincent looked more cheerful and alert.

I thought perhaps he might be able to eat by himself already. So I put a bowl of Recovery and a small bowl of Monge in his cage.

No, he refused to eat.

Okay then, it’s alright, I will handfeed you.

So I did.

By the way, last night, after sending our stock to Pet World, I came home and handfed him another two more rounds – he ate.

So I handfed Vincent again this morning and we finished quite a bit of Recovery.

Then, I took a chance and offered him the bowl of one teaspoon of Monge. I somehow sensed he might want “regular food”.

The miracle happened!!

He ate it all by himself.

I quickly went into the kitchen and brought out a new can of Monge.

And yes, the miracle is real…!!

There we go!!!

Vincent finally finished a whole can of Monge all by himself, without being handfed!!

I could see that there is still some pain in his mouth (the gums probably have not healed completely yet. After all, this is only Day 2). But despite that, he was willing to eat by himself and is no longer put off by food!!!

I even threw in a few Go! kibbles into the bowl and he ate some too (but not all). Okay, don’t push it. Vincent is a sensitive cat.

Vincent and all of us thank all of you who have sent healing wishes throughout these few days. We are truly grateful that so many friends have been wishing him well.
