NOBODY HAS EVER CARED ABOUT ME. WILL YOU?

The kind man who found me noticed I was unable to walk on my back legs and was dragging them along the ground. Whimpering in pain, I cowered when he reached out to me. You see, I have never known a kind touch. My name is Khoram and I am a street dog of Thailand.

An x-ray at a private clinic revealed that I had fractured one of my legs and was suffering with neurological problems. The muscles in my hips had wasted away and I am suffering from neurological problems. The kind man called Soi Dog.

Thanks to the compassionate animal lovers funding my treatment, I am being looked after now. The pain in my legs is gone, my fracture is healing, and I am doing something called physio to get me walking properly again. Despite my terrible start in life, I am considered one of the lucky ones. Because as you read this, another desperately sick or injured animal still needs you.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
