WITHOUT YOU, THERE IS NO HOPE FOR DOGS LIKE ME

At the shelter, they named me Arrax. I am only 2 years of age, yet I have suffered more than any dog should in a lifetime. Born on the streets, with nobody to care for me, I am one of millions that live like this every day. We are the street dogs of Thailand.

I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter with a shocking injury to one of my back legs. Cut right down to the bone, surrounded by rotting tissue and infested with maggots, I was in severe danger and certainly wouldn�t have made it were it not for someone like you.

Thanks to the compassionate animal lovers whose donations funded my care, I was able to have something called surgery, where the dead bits of bone and tissue, along with the maggots, were all removed. None of this would have been possible without the members of the Emergency Response Team.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
