Cow Back To Spraying Again (hooray!)

Yes, Cow is back to his spraying habit again and this is GOOD!!
Although the urine is still blood-tinged, the fact that he can spray means he is recovering!
He tried to pick on Tabs too, and when we stopped him, he took on Tiger. Poor Tiger…
Okay, Cow is back in action!
After one day of no spraying by Cow and no bullying, Cow is back now.
Still blood-tinged but it means his bladder is not blocked and rather than straining to urinate just a few drops at a time, this is quite a bit of urine.
It’s a good sign…(what a relief!).
The greatest fear of FLUTD is a blockage, which could be fatal.
The Prednisolone must be working. The change of diet too. Or maybe the music? Everything helps, I’m sure.
Oh, I also gave Cow Transfer Factor (Advanced Plus). I don’t know if that helped as well.
And the good news is, Cow was willing to eat the RC SO kibble this evening.
Here’s everyone hounding him, hoping for a taste of his kibble!
I had to feed him first so that he cannot smell what the rest are getting. It’s a tactic.
Since yesterday, I have been following Cow’s every step and whenever he squatted to urinate, I would be bending over to observe if any droplets of urine came out. I had to make sure he was still able to urinate. The vet said even if droplets came out, it’s still means he is not blocked. And that’s still safe.
Cow was already spraying all over the place just now, in the garden. Not much, but it’s already an improvement.
The vet just informed me that through the urinalysis, no crystals were found. Looks like, as the vet said, it’s idiopathic cystitis, caused by stress. From the global research findings, most FLUTD in male cats are idiopathic in nature.
Cow and all of us thank everyone who has wished him a speedy recovery!
