My name is Yumi and I am almost 2 years old. I am a little shy when I first meet people but, once I get to know you, I am a friendly, affectionate boy. It will take time, dedication and patience to gain my trust and help me overcome my fears and insecurities, but it will be worth it!

I was left on a deserted beach in a carrier bag when I was just 1 week old. I could so easily have died if a kind passerby hadn�t seen me and brought me to the Soi Dog Foundation in Phuket, Thailand. Thanks to people like you I was able to be hand-fed by the shelter manager every few hours when I first arrived.

I find the world outside the enclosure a little frightening so I jump when I hear strange noises or encounter new people and dogs. I do well in the enclosure with the other dogs because I know them and I feel safe in my familiar space.

I am available for adoption to the USA, Canada, the UK and EU and also in Thailand.
