Lee Chin Chins Cats

Lee Chin Chin is one of the five members in the group of ladies (led by Wong Yee Heng) who collectively claim for about 20 animals per week. I was able to communicate with Ms Lee this evening and requested for photos of the cats whom she feeds on a daily basis.

Ms Lee requires about 100kg for petfood per month to feed these cats. Her rescue areas cover Kepong, Jinjang as well as Ampang. According to Ms Lee, “there is no end to this work”. There is rampant dumping, especially in the flat areas.  So she and her friends do their very best to rescue these cats and get them neutered. “We try to pick up every cat that we come across, but there are really so many”, she laments.  Ms Lee spends on the average of 3 hours daily, to feed these cats in various colonies.

Some of the neutered cats are housed in Ms Lee’s flat, while many are returned to colony.

Here are 20 photos shared by Ms Lee:

We thank Ms Lee for helping all these cats, and we also thank you, all our supporters and donors, for making it possible for us to help in the neutering fee of these cats.

Each cat neutered is many, many street births prevented.

We each have our own strengths and capabilities, so while rescuers like Ms Lee and her friends do the physical work of rescuing, transporting and looking after these many animals, the rest of us do our best to raise the funds necessary to help make their efforts possible. All of us share the same love for these street animals. We help in our own ways.

Thank you very much for helping.
