I HAVE BEEN IN THE SOI DOG SHELTER ON PHUKET, THAILAND, FOR NEARLY A YEAR. PLEASE GIVE ME A HOME!

My name is Dusty. I�m a lovely, handsome boy who is nearly 4 years old. I am very friendly and I get excited when volunteers come into my run to take me for a walk. Sometimes I get a bit too excited and jump up, because I am so happy to see them. But I�m learning to be a little calmer.

I walk well on my lead, but I can be a little unsure because of the unfamiliar sounds and smells. I need a family who will be patient and encouraging as I build my confidence and learn to trust people again.

I get along with most other dogs, but I generally prefer the company of female dogs. People tell me I�m a smart boy and that I would do well in dog training classes.

I used to live in the grounds of a local temple, where the kind monks fed me. There were lots of other dogs at the temple – too many for me to cope with! Some visitors thought I was being a nuisance when I tried to defend my territory so I was brought to the Soi Dog shelter.

Please don�t let me grow old in a shelter. I really deserve a family of my own where I will finally feel settled and safe. Could you find it in your heart to adopt me?
