MINE WAS THE FACE OF SUFFERING

At just 2 years of age, I had already given up on living. Such is the lot of an abandoned street dog who has never known love. They said I was one of the worst cases of neglect they had ever seen at the Soi Dog shelter. My name is Gansito.

My face and back were covered in open sores when they rescued me. I was scared and traumatised, and none of the people who wanted to help me could get near me. Fortunately for me, they contacted the Soi Dog Foundation and an Animal Rescue Officer managed to pick me up and race me to the shelter.

I had endured serious neglect for a long time. Suffering with severe dermatitis and a shocking case of mange, I was also battling eye infections and anaemia. No animal should ever have to endure what I have been through. Will you please help change things?
