PLEASE NEUTER YOUR PET!
They multiply too fast!
YOU can help solve the overpopulation problem.
Over the years, animal organizations and councils have collected and put down hundreds of thousands of stray dogs and cats simply because suitable homes are not found for them. Therefore, we take every initiative to encourage pet owners to bring their pets to be neutered or desexed to stop the multiplication. In a single dog’s life, it can multiply to more than 5000 within it’s lifetime!
We congratulate every pet owner for bringing their pet to a veterinarian to do standard surgery to help us to reduce the number of unwanted animals.
There are a few things that you should do before and after the surgery. PLEASE READ :
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO TO YOUR PET BEFORE THE SURGERY
1. Make an advance appointment with your appointed vet clinic.
2. Let your pet fast for at least 8 hours (no food or water) – keep in cage to ensure no food during the fasting period.
3. Bath your pet to ensure that your pet is clean.
4. Make sure your pet is not on heat or pregnant.
5. Dog must be fit and healthy.
### Dogs generally can be neutered at the age of 6 months and above.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO AFTER THE SURGERY
Your pet will still be sleepy and groggy so…
1. Keep your pet in safe area and away from drains they could fall into.
2. Keep in shaded area and away from people like in a room or in the cage.
3. Give clean water in bowl and milk if necessary.
4. No bones for the next 2 days.
5. Give normal (no boney) food a few hours after the regaining consciousness.
6. Keep the wound dry by not giving your pet a bath until the stitches are removed.
