THE POWER OF DONATIONS: DROSSEL WALKS AGAIN

Drossel is only 3 years old and arrived at our shelter after being hit by a car. Lying in agony at the side of the road, she was unable to move or even stand up. By the time she arrived at our shelter, she was weak and refusing to eat.

Dogs like Drossel are completely dependent on you. Growing up on the street with no owner to care for them, when they are sick or injured, you are all they have. Will you please go to https://ert.soidog.org/ to join our Emergency Response Team, funding life-saving treatment for dogs like Drossel?

She has been with us a couple of weeks now and in that time, people like you have made a world of difference for Drossel. Unable to stand or walk in her first few days here, with treatment she gradually progressed from a lying down position to sitting up. From there, she is now standing and even walking for short periods.

This is the difference people like you make for a dog that would have otherwise died in agony at the side of the road. Although Drossel�s journey to recovery will be long, she is one of the lucky ones because she is now being cared for.
